Problems learning IR signals

I am using the Phyton API to learn and send IR signals from different devices. In principal my code is able to read some IR signals in and store it in a hex data container. Moreover, I am also able to send out stored signed to the blaster.

However, non of my recorded signals is reproducing the original behavior from the master remote. I really tried hard using different commands and even completely different remote devices to learn signals. Unfortunately I didn't managed a single time a successful learn. Whenever I am trying to execute the command I can see the blaster blinking and therefore emitting some IR signals but the receiving device simply doesn't react at all.

I am not sure what the root of the problem is, my IR signals, the way I learn these signals, the way I store the signals on the Pi or anything else. But something must go wrong in my case!

I hope someone will give me some input how to look into this problem as I am currently running out of ideas. Thank you very much for any help!
